Steppers Paradise (Volume 18) - Recorded in 2010

Gerald Levert, Anthony Hamilton, Jeffree, and Will Downing return to the Steppers Paradise Collection here on Volume 18.  Fred Hammond yes the Gospel Singer introduces a stepper cut as well.  DJ Chuck Dog continues to roll out smooth Steppin' sounds spreading this genre of music all across the country.

Stepper's Paradise (Volume 16) - Recorded in 2009

Volume 16 brings is another chapter in the underground Steppin' movement.  The ultra-jazzy, smooth, neo-soul vibe keeps a flow that makes this disc a complete pleasure to listen to.  Janet Jackson goes back to back on this set with Moist and Days Go By, both extremely sexy songs.  Definitely worth mentioning is the fact that Will Downing makes his fourth appearance in the Steppers Paradise Collection this time with the uptempo cut, "Soul Steppin'"

Steppers Paradise (Volume 17) - Recorded in 2009

I guess by now you can tell that I am a huge Jill Scott fan.  Volume 17 brings us three of Jill's songs including the super-sexy and provocative "Crown Royal."  This disc also brings us the smooth sounds of Kem, India Arie, Angie Stone, Will Downing, D'Angelo, Vivian Green, and MeShell Ndegeocello.   As you get towards the end of this Super-Smooth disc, I've edited DJ Inc.'s Instant Vintage and blended an excerpt from a speech by perhaps the greatest orator of all -time Malcolm X.  You don't have to be a stepper to enjoy Steppin' Music.  This is one of my favorite disc!!

Steppers Paradise (Volume 19) - Recorded in 2010

When K'Jon introduced America to the silky-smooth "On the Ocean," Chicago steppers went crazy.  This song epitomized what the Steppin' community was looking for.  Set at 82 bpm (Beats Per Minute), this song gives steppers the perfect flow.  Any album that starts with the velvety sounds of Howard Hewitt, and concludes with the K'Jon track has to be played in heavy rotation.

Steppers Paradise (Volume 20) - Recorded in 2008

When making this disc, it wasn't my intent to include it in the Steppers Paradise Collection.  This was intended to be a special mix that was only released to friends and family.  This is by far my most popular mix in the series.  It features a variety of speeches by both Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and President Barack Obama.  There is a true message in this music which appropriately ends with Sam Cooke's - "A Change is Gonna Come."

In 2008 when President Obama was elected, I made this CD to commemorate his presidency and gave it to some friends that made the trip over to DC for the inauguration.  The rave reviews I received were tremendous.  Each bus (10 buses in all) had their own copy.  I ended up giving copies to everybody on all the buses.  Steppers Paradise Volume 20 is a collectors item.  You must own this disc!!!
