Green Fee:  Reasonable, about average for a typical Chicago area course.

Green Garden has two 18 hole golf courses.  Both offer an exciting, and scenic round of golf.  The
scenery, specifically the houses surrounding the golf course, is spectacular.  Most houses are the
size of two or three bungalows in Chicago. The course and practice facilities are first class.  The
first hole on the Championship course is extremely challenging.  In my opinion it should be turned
around and played as the 17th or 18th hole, to make for a much more exciting finish.  The hole plays
at a dogleg right with water coming into play off the tee.  A prevailing wind makes hitting, what
amounts to a double fairway, awfully tough.  The middle of the fairway is lined with bunkers, fescue,
and water hazards.  The green is heavily guarded by bunkers.  Once you get by this hole, the rest
ofthe course is not as difficult.  With wide open fairways, you have a chance to score at Green
Garden, regardless of what course you play.

The distance is perhaps the most difficult obstacle to attain at Green Garden.  Long hitters will
prosper here.

Overall, Green Garden comes highly recommended by me.  It is not a long drive from Chicago, and
you can go there during winter to use the golf dome for practice.
