Big Run is a very challenging yet fun golf course. located down the street from Cog Hill, this golf course has hundreds of big oak trees, a bunch of sandtraps, water, and OB. Not only that, but many rolling hills as well. Although this golf course is over 70 years old, you would not know it because it is always in immaculate condition. The greens are quick and tricky. There are four sets of tee boxes, and I recommend you play from the tees next to the tips, unless you are a person that regularly breaks 80. One par three, I think its hole number sixteen, is a carry over water, and if you make it, the green is two-tiered. A three putt awaits if you land on the wrong tier. They have added a GPS system on the carts, and it is much needed. There are several blind shots on this course. This is a great course for all you gamblers out there, because it will bring some of the best golfers to their knees. The club house is nice and inviting. Plenty of room to relax and chill after your round of golf. I have not seen or heard of any specials or discounts for Big Run so if your finances are low, its best to play at twilight.
